Nolan Mondrow


Founder & CEO

Nolan Mondrow has an extensive background in entrepreneurship and business development. He has developed, managed and sold businesses  in a diverse set of industries including, security products, import/export, strategy management software, and internet controlled devices. As VP of Operations at PositiveWare, he secured strategic accounts such as Avaya and KKE.  As CEO and founder of LockState, he grew the company to become a leader in the cloud-based access control industry and successfully sold off its ecommerce division.  Nolan received his BA in International Relations from Tufts University, and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Robert Goff


Director of Product Management

Robert Goff is the product  visionary of the company and has been with LockState since July 2008. Rob has over 15 years marketing and product management experience in the interactive entertainment, ecommerce and SmartHome industries. While at LockState, Rob has re-launched the LockState & ResortLock brands, defined and lead development of the LockState Connect portal as well as the WiFi enabled RemotLock.

Barclay Friesen

Director of Sales and Business Development

Throughout his career Barclay has combined his dual strengths in sales and operational management to implement innovative strategies. He has had leadership roles in small and medium-sized companies as well as with teams as large as 600 people.  Most recently Barclay served as a founding member and COO of Convercent.  During his time at Convercent he led the design and development of a new Sales and Professional Services team.Prior to Convercent Barclay was COO of Rivet Software, Barclay led day-to-day operations of the sales department, and as a result Rivet was designated the 6th fastest growing software company in the U.S. in 2011 by Inc. Magazine.  A native of North Carolina, he studied Business at the University of North Carolina State. Because of his passion for helping companies accelerate their growth potential Barclay became a founding member of Nebbiolo Ventures with a philosophy of focusing on integrating the right mix of leadership, board development, funding strategy, and sourcing to achieve a company’s true market potential.
